TASK A Explore the following GeoGebra sites to see how equations of parallel and perpendicular lines change. Use the following guiding questions for help.
1. As you move the parallel lines what happens to the equations for each line?
2. As you move the perpendicular lines what happens to the equations for each line?
2. How are the slopes related?

TASK B Watch the video on the left to learn about the relationship between parallel and perpendicular lines. Take notes in your ISN for you to refer back to later. If you need more explanation watch the video on the right after.

TASK C Practice Activities. Create a plan of practice activities you will use. You need at least three activities Classwork Today, Homework Today, and Homework Tomorrow. Pick an extra as well in case you have time in class tomorrow.
Choice 1: Real Life Scenario Worksheet (The stories are amusing!)
Choice 2: Quia Play the game and show Mrs. Fraser your score. Take a screenshot if you do it at home.
Choice 3: Multiple Choice Practice Questions Complete the questions and write down how many you got correct and incorrect.
Choice 4: Online Assignment on the Big Ideas Website
Choice 5: Create a picture on graph paper that includes at least 2 sets of parallel lines and 2 sets of perpendicular lines (so at least 8 lines in all.) Write the equation for each line next to it. On the back give the equations of four other lines two that would each be parallel to a line in your picture and two that would be perpendicular to another line in your picture. Be sure to state which line it is parallel or perpendicular to.
Choice 6: Slope of a Line Extension Worksheet
